Bamboo viscose is spun smooth and dries fast; the cotton is knitted open. Both carry sweat off the skin in the afternoon and still hold a layer of warm air after dark, which is what makes one set cover most of an Indian year.

Our origin
How Sollazo started
We set out to make pyjamas and tees that stay comfortable through an Indian summer. Cotton blends went heavy after a few washes, polyester trapped heat, and rayon lost its softness. Bamboo viscose did none of that.
Bamboo is still the cloth most people ask for by name, but it is no longer the only one we cut. We buy from certified growers, work in small runs, and keep the range short on purpose. Clothing should feel as good as it looks, and it should keep feeling that way.

- The cloth is spun smooth and knitted loose, so it moves moisture off the skin in the heat and still holds warm air at night, which is why one set covers most of the year.

- The spun fibre has almost no loose ends, so the surface stays flat rather than prickling — none of the scratch you get from a wool jumper.

The Founders
As co-founders, one of the biggest challenges we faced while building a clothing brand was finding the right fabric. We tested everything, cotton blends, polyester, rayon, but each came with its own problems. Some felt heavy after washing, some trapped heat, and others simply didn't stay soft over time. We wanted sleepwear that people could truly relax in, especially in warm weather.
That's when we discovered bamboo fabric, and honestly, it changed everything for us. Bamboo felt naturally softer, lighter, and far more breathable than the fabrics we had worked with before. It stayed comfortable through long days, cooler nights, and repeated washes. Most importantly, people genuinely felt the difference the moment they wore it.
For us, bamboo wasn't just another material. It became the reason Sollazo could create pyjamas and tees that combine comfort, simplicity, and sustainability in one experience.
